The Melfort Dairy Queen was full of activity on Thursday August 8, 2013. Dairy Queen in conjunction with Children’s miracle network hospitals are donating all proceeds from every blizzard sold on Thursday.
Halfway through the day Melfort Diary Queen owner Jerrod Davis estimates they have sold about 500 blizzards already and expects to sell over 1000 by the end of the day.
They have also collected over $200 in donations. Many local business chipped into to order blizzards for the cause and Melfort Mustangs General Manager and Head Coach Gavin Holcomb was even on hand mixing up a few of the treats.
