Adam Nobes Commits to Trinity Western!

The Melfort Mustangs are very excited to announce a University commitment this week! Mustang forward Adam Nobes has committed to the Trinity Western University Spartans for the 2021-22 season!

Nobes a two year Mustang came to Melfort for the 2019-20 season where he made an impact immediately.

“We’re extremely proud of Adam. He deserves all the opportunities he’s had and is going to get playing U Sports.” Melfort Mustangs Head Coach and GM Trevor Blevins said. “Adam has put in the work on and off the ice. He is a quality hockey player, and even more importantly, a quality individual with a strong character.”

In 50 career regular season games in Melfort, Adam scored eight goals and 23 assists for 31 points. In four playoff games, he added three assists.

The Trinity Western Spartans are a new men’s hockey program to join U Sports. They will play their first U Sports season in the Canada West Conference this fall, out of Langley, British Columbia.
