Back in the Booth: Barrett returns as Mustangs Play-by-Play voice

The Melfort Mustangs are excited to announce that Marketing and Business Director Mat Barrett will be returning to the broadcast booth as the team’s Play-by-Play voice for the 2021/2022 season.

“We are pleased to have Mat pulling double duty as our Marketing Director, as well as being the Play-by-Play voice of the Mustangs on the road,” said President Jordan Lee.

Barrett is entering his fifth season as the Mustangs radio voice on Pattison Media stations. His time behind the mic for the Mustangs has included three playoffs, and an SJHL Finals appearance in 2019.

The first Mustangs broadcast of the season will be Saturday, Sep. 25 as the Mustangs take on the Flin Flon Bombers at the Whitney Forum. All Mustang road games can be heard this season on 105 CJVR.
