The Melfort Mustangs are excited to announce that 2005-born defenceman Bo Eisner has committed to the club for the 23/24 season.

Currently the Captain of the Parkland Rangers in the Manitoba U18 Hockey League (MU18HL), Eisner (6’1”/181lbs), out of Swan River, Man., has played 44 games, scoring 10 times and adding 22 assists for 32 points.

“Bo is the prototypical all around defenceman,” said Mustangs Head Coach and General Manager Trevor Blevins. “He brings size, strength, skill, and a very high compete level. He has had a very successful U18AAA year that will bring him the confidence to transition to the SJHL.”

His 32 points are the most by a blueliner on the Rangers, and ranks tied for sixth in the entire MU18HL among defenceman scoring.

Last season with the Rangers, Eisner played in 44 games, scoring six goals and adding 24 assists for 30 points, good for second among defencemen on his team that season. Eisner also notched one assist in seven playoff games last season.

During the COVID-shortened 2020/2021 season, Eisner played seven games with the Rangers.
