Fouillards Cup 2022/2023

Fouillard Carpet Sales have been long-standing businesses in both Melfort and Kindersley, and have been long-time sponsors of the Mustangs and Klippers.

Now, the SJHL clubs are set to battle for a brand new head-to-head trophy that’s being called the “Fouillards Cup” and it’s presented by the awesome people at Fouillard Carpet Sales in Kindersley and Melfort. Dustin in Melfort and Ethan in Kindersley represent their respective clubs in what is sure to be an entertaining series during the 2022/2023 season.

The series kicked off on Oct. 15 in Kindersley when the Klippers beat the Mustangs 7-4 to take a 1-0 series lead. It will continue in Kindersley once again on Sunday, February 5. The series will shift to Melfort on Wednesday, Februrary 15 and then again on Wednesday, March 1. If the series is split after the four regular season games, the winner will be whichever team gathered the most points in the standings during the four contests.

The winning team will hold on to the newly branded “Fouillards Cup” for the remainder of the season, and through the summer until the puck drops in 2023/2024.
