Franklin Commits to Melfort for 2021-22!

The Melfort Mustangs are excited to announce a commitment for the 2021-22 season!

Dylan Franklin, a 2002-born Forward, from Lake Cowichan, British Columbia, has committed to the Mustangs.

The 5-foot-10, 175lb, Forward, spent the last two seasons with the Campbell River Storm of the VIJHL in BC. Franklin played 13 games with the Storm this season before the COVID-19 pause. He had a breakout season recording eight goals and eight assists for 16 points. Previously to the 2020-21 season, he played the 2019-20 season with the Storm, scoring six times and added one assist for seven points in just 15 games.

“Dylan is a very well rounded player who does all the right things.” Mustangs Head Coach and GM Trevor Blevins said. “He has a lot of speed and skill and has had a successful 2020-21 season. He will be a great add to our program this fall.”

Franklin will join the Mustangs for the 2021-22 season.
