Lare Pahtayken commits to Melfort for 2021-22!

The Melfort Mustangs are excited to announce another commitment for the 2021-22 hockey season!

Lare Pahtayken, a 2003-born defenceman, from Onion Lake, Saskatchewan, has committed to the Mustangs.

“Lare is a versatile player that can play both forward and defence.” Mustangs Head Coach and GM Trevor Blevins said. “He likes to activate offensively into the play and is a big strong player with lots of skill.”

Pahtayken spent the beginning of the 2020-21 season close by with the Tisdale Trojans of the Saskatchewan AAA U18 League. He had one assist in three games. Prior to U18 AAA, Pahtayken spent the 2019-20 season with the Golden Rockets of the KIJHL. He scored seven times and added 16 assists in 45 games with Golden.

Pahtayken will join the Mustangs for the 2021-22 season.
