Meyers returning as Assistant Coach for 2022/2023

The Melfort Mustangs are pleased to announce that Dan Meyers will return as Assistant Coach for the 2022/2023 season.

Meyers re-joined the Mustangs on an interim basis on Nov. 30 and remained with the club all season. After Meyers joined the team, the Mustangs were 21-8-3-1 to finish out the regular season, which included a late charge to win the Sherwood Division.

“We’re very excited to have Danny back behind the bench next season,” said Head Coach and General Manager Trevor Blevins. “He is an extremely valuable member of our staff.”

This will be Meyers sixth season total with the Mustangs as he was an Assistant between 2015 and 2019.
