Mustang Annual Calcutta Shootout Saturday Night
The Melfort Mustangs annual Calcutta shootout is back! The shootout will take place Saturday after the game against the Yorkton Terriers! To bid on a player make sure to make it to the auction on Saturday afternoon at the curling rink! Drinks start at 2pm with the Auction to begin at 3pm! All bids will be sold as “Wild Cards” with each winning bid selecting a player of their choosing! Last year thousands of dollars were put into the auction with each winner taking home a very large sum of money! Following the auction there will be a supper served at the curling rink prior to the game against Yorkton!
Here’s the breakdown for payouts:
PLAYERS SHOOTOUT FINANCES. Example… Player’s pot being $10,000
50% KEPT FOR THE TEAM. $5,000 (Money the team keeps)
50% OF IT PAID OUT. $5,000 (Pay to winning bidders)
PAY OUT $5,000.00 (To Winning Bidder’s)
1st Place: 55% = $2,750
2nd Place: 30% = $1,500
3rd place 15% = $750
GOALIES: DEPENDING ON # OF FUNDS. Example…Goalie’s pot $2,000
50% KEPT= $ 1,000
50% OUT= $ 1,000
