Mustangs acquire Jake Hobson from Whitecourt

The Melfort Mustangs have a swung a trade as the SJHL season nears.

The Mustangs have acquired 1999′ D- Jake Hobson from the Whitecourt Wolverines, in exchange for 1999′ D- Andrew Liwiski and a PDF.

A native of Prince Albert, SK, Hobson has appeared in 54 WHL contests. Along with 25 games between the AJHL and SJHL.

Hobson and the Mustangs open the season on Saturday with a home and home against the Notre Dame Hounds.
