Mustangs add Bosch and Nault from Klippers in trade!

The Melfort Mustangs have made a big splash as the end of November nears. The team has traded 1999-D Jake Hobson, 2001-D Sam Witt, the CJHL list rights to 2002-FW Davin Griffin and Future considerations to the Kindersley Klippers in return for 1999-FW Kyle Bosch and 1999-FW Austin Nault.

Bosch and Nault are enjoying 20-year old seasons with the Klippers and are two of the premier 20 year olds in the SJHL.

“This is a big trade for our team. In getting Austin and Kyle we’re adding a big veteran presence that can provide offence. Mustang Head Coach and GM Trevor Blevins said. “They’re solid 200 foot players that fit in with our style of play. We’re excited to get Kyle and Austin into the Mustang lineup.”

Austin Nault, from Winnipeg Manitoba, has 18 points in 19 games this year. Over his 120 game SJHL career he’s put up 40 goals and 79 points.

Kyle Bosch, from Kindersley Saskatchewan, has played his entire junior career with the Klippers. This season he has 24 points in 27 games. Over his 194 game career, Bosch has 39 goals and 101 points with the Klippers.

The Mustangs send Jake Hobson, Davin Griffin and Sam Witt to Kindersley. We would like to thank Jake, Davin and Sam for their time as Mustangs and wish them all the best in Kindersley!

The Mustangs are back on the ice Friday, as we open a home and home with the La Ronge Ice Wolves in Melfort.
