Mustangs Annual General Meeting Brings Change and New Faces

The Melfort Mustangs hosted their Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, August 27 at the Kerry Vickar Centre, bringing together fans, volunteers, and community members to reflect on the past year and look ahead to the future.

During the President’s Message, it was shared that Chad Elliott will be stepping down from the Board of Directors. Chad has been a fixture with the Mustangs for the past nine years, and for seven of those years he has served as either President or Vice President. His leadership, dedication, and countless volunteer hours have made a lasting impact on the organization. The Mustangs extend a heartfelt thank you to Chad for everything he has done to support Mustang hockey.

The organization would also like to thank Jordan Barnett for his contributions as he steps away from the board.

Looking forward, the Mustangs are excited to welcome two new board members, Nikki Keen and Al Glister, who bring fresh energy and ideas to the group.

The AGM also marked a transition in leadership, as Greg Claypool moves into the role of President after serving as Vice President last season, and Ryan Case steps in as the new Vice President.

The Mustangs would like to extend their appreciation to all past and present board members for their dedication and welcome the new directors who will help guide the organization into the future. With new voices joining the table and familiar leaders stepping into new roles, the organization is excited for what lies ahead.
