Mustangs Bid Farewell to a Pair

TWO MUSTANGS HEAD TO THE PORTAGE TERRIERS

A FOND FAREWELL TO A COUPLE OF HARD WORKERS

The Melfort Mustangs have moved two key players to the Portage Terriers of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League for player development fees. Anchorage, Alaska native Howard Yawit and Aberdeen, Saskatchewan native Ashton Clark are both 1996 born players who made their presence felt on the wing. Yawit had spent two seasons with the club, both of which resulted in Canalta Cup victories. Clark has only been with us for one season, acquired from the Lloydminster Bobcats for future considerations, but he certainly made an impact for the one year he was here. The Melfort Mustangs would like to thank both of these young men for their hard work and commitment, and wish you both the best of luck in the years to come.
