Mustangs Home Opener FREE for all!!

The SJHL regular season is just one week away, and the Melfort Mustangs kick things off on Friday, Sep. 24 at the Northern Lights Palace against the Flin Flon Bombers.

It won’t be a normal, everyday home opener though, this year it’s going to be bigger. It’s been well over a year-and-a-half since we’ve all been able to pack the Northern Lights Palace and cheer on the Mustangs, and to welcome everyone back, admission for Friday’s home opener will be FREE to all! That’s thanks to our Game Sponsor, Cheyenne GM in Melfort.

Not only will admission be free, but the first 800 fans through the Palace doors will get a free rally towel thanks to Cheyenne GM, Royal Lepage Hodgins Realty, George Home Hardware, and Pharmasave!

Prior to the contest, head to the Melfort Senior Place on Burrows Ave West for a pregame tailgate with a barbecue and beverages hosted by the North East SPCA starting at 5:30 p.m.

During the intermissions, Cheyenne GM will be holding a paper airplane toss, and a trike race.

Make sure to get to the game early to get your towel and a great seat! Tickets will not be sold for the game ahead of time.

Season Ticket holders will still have their reserved seat for this game.
