Mustangs Make Some Moves

The Melfort Mustangs made some moves in their player personnel recently. Bret Schwengler was released from the roster and Wyatt Hinson went to the Steinbach Pistons for player development fees to open up the trades, which was quickly followed by the acquisition of Defenseman Boedy Donald from the Hawks for 3rd round draft picks in 2017 and 2018. Lucas Fraulin is Melfort’s only other acquisition, joing the team from the Powell River Kings for a player development fee. Nicholas Schultze and Alexander Leonidas also find new homes, as Schultze went to the Neepawa Natives and Leonidas joined the Humboldt Broncos both for player development fees. The Mustangs would like to welcome both newcomers, as well as thank those players leaving for all their hard work for our organization.
