The Melfort Mustangs are proud to announce that 5 Mustangs will be attending the SJHL/MJHL Showcase in Regina SK, next week as part of a brand new first annual event.
For the first time the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League and the Manitoba Junior Hockey League are partnering for a two day showcase of talent. Players ranging from 1997’ born to 2000’ born will be taking part. Each league will consist of 3 teams for a total of 6 to play head to head over two days. All games will be played at the Cooperators Centre in Regina SK.
The Mustangs will be sending Forwards Reed Gunville, Justin Ball and Carson Albrecht, as well as D-man Kayle Tosh and Goaltender Evan Plotnik.
Gunville, Tosh and Plotnik will play on “Team Mitchell”, While Albrecht and Ball will play on “Team Kunitz”.
