Mustangs trade Bansley to Melville

The Melfort Mustangs have traded 2005-born forward Zach Bansley to the Melville Millionaires in exchange for a Second-Round Pick in the 2007-born SJHL Draft this summer.

Bansley, from Tisdale, Sask., has been playing this season with the Lethbridge Hurricanes in the WHL, earning one assist in 18 games this season.

Bansley was the Mustangs 10th Overall pick in the 2020 SJHL Draft and played in two games as an “AP” for the Mustangs during the 2021/2022 season. He was held pointless in those games.

We thank you Zach for his time as part of the Mustangs organization and we wish him the best in Melville.
