It was a rough night at The Palace for the Mustangs Friday night as they fell 5-1 to the Humboldt Broncos.
It was the second time in 72 hours the Mustangs had allowed 5 goals to the Broncos and once again is was the line of Joey Davies, Cody Poncgraz and Neil Landry that did all the damage.
The trio combined for six points on route to their sixth straight victory.
Patrick Johnson made his second straight start and did his part making 27 saves while Matt Hrynkiw came within nine minutes of earning a shutout.
Brennan Bosovich scored the lone Mustang goal off the glove of Bronco defenseman Logan Sproule.
The Mustangs are now off until Wednesday when they welcome the La Ronge Ice Wolves.
