Here's what Melfort Mustangs' forward Travis Mayan accomplished on Friday night:

- 200 career SJHL points

- 100 career SJHL goals

- Back to Back 40-goal seasons

- Natural Hat Trick

- Took over sole possession of the SJHL scoring race, which he also won last year

Not a bad night at the office for Travis Mayan, who came into action Friday sitting on 98 goals and 199 points in his SJHL career.  At 10:20 of the second period against the visiting Kindersley Klippers, Mayan scored his 40th goal of the season.  That gave him 40 goals for a second straight season, and 200 career points in the SJHL.  4:23 later, on a powerplay, he struck again.  His 41st of the season was a new career high, and gave him 100 career goals.  For good measure he added another just 47 seconds into the third, for the hat trick, and 42nd on the campaign.

While it's unofficial, we believe the last player to have 200 points in the SJHL was Troy Schwab of the Kindersley Klippers from 2001-2005.  Schwab also had 100+ goals, but he did it in four seasons, while Mayan hit those totals in three, and he's not done.

The Mustangs (32-13-3-2) won Friday's contest, 5-2 over Kindersley, their fourth straight win.  Justin Boyer and Dakota Boutin also scored for Melfort.  Matt VanderSloot and Cody Young replied for the Klippers (23-23-1-2).
