Game 6 at the Whitney Forum was an absolute thriller for the near sellout crowd including many of the Mustang faithful who made the trip. A tight first period saw the Mustangs get in some penalty trouble early and often but a great penalty kill brought the period to a close at a scoreless draw. Two time SJHL leading scorer Travis Mayan tied things up with a power play marker of his own at 14:37 assisted by minion line mate Justin Boyer.
