Patterson Commits to Melfort for 2023/2024

The Melfort Mustangs are excited to announce that 2005-born forward Nolan Patterson has committed to the club for the 2023/2024 season.

Patterson (6’1”/170lbs), out of Rose Valley, Sask., has been playing this season with the Prince Albert Mintos. In 29 games, he’s scored two goals and added three assists for five points.

“Nolan is a big, strong, power forward that pays the game with a competitive edge that will be welcomed to our next season,” said Mustangs Head Coach and General Manager Trevor Blevins.

Patterson also joined the Mustangs for one game this season on Dec. 16 when the Mustangs played the Nipawin Hawks.

Prior to his time with the Mintos, Patterson played two seasons with the North East U18 AA club, playing 40 games overall. He scored 28 goals, and added 26 assists for 54 points. Patterson led the team in goals (22), assists (19), and points (41) in 21/22.
