The season series has been the Carson Albrecht and Justin Ball show. In 6 meetings the pair have combined for 10 goals and 28 points. They’ve been on fire finishing the regular season with 103 and 89 points respectively, first and second in the league. Their big centreman Tanner Zentner finished the year with 54 points, giving the trio a combined 246.
Between the pipes Noah Giesbrecht has been as good as it gets. He was named the SJHL Goalie of the Month for February and if it’s Giesbrecht or Parkinson that gets the first crack at Kindersley, you know they will be ready to go toe to toe with the SJHL’s Goaltender of the Year Justen Close.
Up front for the Klippers they’re led by Ty Enns, an early season acquisition.  He leads the team with 45 points in the regular season and did it in just 34 games. Right behind him are Kyle Bosch, Austin Nault and Cade Benson. The trio have 44, 44 and 40 points respectively.
It should make for a great matchup as the one of the SJHL’s top offences in Melfort, go up against the league’s top Goaltender in Close, and one of the strongest D-core’s in the SJHL.
It all gets underway tonight with Game 1 from the Northern Lights Palace. Game 2 goes tomorrow again in Melfort before the series shifts back to Kindersley. Tickets for Games 1 and 2 can be bought online at!
