The Ripley Ford Melfort Mustangs are proud to announce that Kaleb Binner has committed to continue his hockey career with the Augustana Vikings of the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC).
Binner has spent the past three seasons in Melfort, becoming a familiar face in the Mustangs lineup and an important part of the organization both on and off the ice.
The Calgary, Alberta product joined the Mustangs ahead of the 2023-24 season and was part of back-to-back SJHL Championship teams in his first two seasons in Melfort. Those championship runs also gave Binner the opportunity to represent the Mustangs on the national stage at two Centennial Cups.
“Kaleb has been a big part of our group for the past three seasons in Melfort,” said Mustangs Head Coach and General Manager Trevor Blevins. “He competes hard, brings energy to the rink every day and has always been willing to do whatever the team needs from him. To be part of two championship teams is something he should be very proud of, and we’re excited to see him earn the opportunity to continue his hockey career at Augustana.”
The Mustangs organization would like to congratulate Kaleb on this exciting next step and thank him for everything he has contributed to the organization and the Melfort community over the past three seasons.
