The Melfort Mustangs are excited to announce that Clarke Huxley has been hired as the team’s new assistant coach.
A proud Mustang alumnus, Huxley brings familiarity, passion, and a strong work ethic to the bench. He joined the Mustangs during the 2021–22 season and quickly made an impact both on and off the ice. In his 20-year-old campaign during the 2022–23 season, Huxley served as an assistant captain, recognized by his teammates and coaches for his leadership, character, and team-first mentality.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Clarke back to the organization,” said Head Coach and General Manager Trevor Blevins. “He knows what it means to wear the Mustang crest and brings a deep understanding of the culture we’ve built here. His experience as a former player and his passion for development will be a great asset to our team.”
