Hogman Commits to Mustangs for 2023/2024 Season
The 2022/2023 Circle K Classic U18 AAA International Tournament The Melfort Mustangs are excited to announce that 2005-born defenceman Josh Hogman has committed to the club for the 2023/2024 season.
Hogman (6’, 165lbs), out of Spruce Grove, Alta., has been playing this season with the Lloydminster Bobcats U18 AAA club in the AEHL. In 31 games, Hogman has three goals and has added 10 assists for 13 points.
“Josh is a well-rounded defenceman that skates very well,” said Mustangs Head Coach and General Manager Trevor Blevins. “He likes to jump up in the rush and create plays. We’re excited to welcome him to our blue line.”
Hogman and his Bobcats were also at the Circle K Classic over the Christmas break. In four games, he scored twice and added an assist for three points.
Prior to his time with the Bobcats, Hogman played the 2021/2022 season with the PAC Spruce Grove Saints U18 AA club. He notched 11 points in 30 games that season as well as one goal in four playoff games.
Hogman joins Will Porter as another Bobcat that has committed to the Mustangs for next season.
