Jaxon Kehrig Signs for 2024-2025 Season
The Melfort Mustangs are proud to announce the signing of 07’ forward Jaxon Kehrig for the 2024-25 season!!
Jaxon was a 1st round pick, 9th overall pick, in last year’s draft for the Mustangs. He is currently playing for the Tisdale Trojans in the SMAAAHL, where he has recorded 9 goals and 13 assists in 27 games played. He was also recognized by the Tisdale Trojan organization as an assistant captain for this season.
Jaxon has been a reliable AP for the club this season, scoring in his first AP game on November 1st, 2023 against the Estevan Bruins. He has been awarded a star of the game in 2 AP games he has played with the Mustangs.
When asked about Jaxon Kehrig, Trevor Blevins (GM/Head Coach) had this to say, “This is very exciting for our future to have Jaxon commit to our program. We appreciate the trust and commitment from Jaxon and his family. He has shown continued development on and off the ice this season that will ensure that he will be an impact player in our lineup”.
