Leith Olafson Commits to Melfort for 2021-22

The Melfort Mustangs are excited to announce another commitment for the 2021-22 season!

Leith Olafson, a 2003-born Defenceman, from Kimberley, British Columbia, has committed to the Mustangs.

The 6-foot-1, Defenceman, spent the 2019-20 season with the Kimberley Dynamiters of the KIJHL. In 33 games last season he put up seven assists. In four playoff games he added another pair of assists.

“Leith is a big, strong defenceman who already has junior experience.” Mustangs Head Coach and GM Trevor Blevins said. “He plays the game the right way and has offensive upside. He plays hard and will bring compete to our lineup.”

Olafson will join the Mustangs this fall for the 2021-22 season.
