Tillmanns Commits to Melfort for 2023/2024 Season

The Mustangs are excited to announce that 2005-born forward Nate Tillmanns has committed to the club for the 2023/2024 season.

Tillmanns (6’3”/165lbs), out of Edmonton, Alta., has spent this season with the Edmonton Junior Oilers in the Alberta U18 AAA ranks. In 34 games, Tillmanns scored seven times and added eight assists for 15 points.

“Nate is a big strong power forward that plays the game heavy and plays in the hard areas,” said Mustangs Head Coach and General Manager Trevor Blevins. “His combination of size and skill will make him a great fit in the SJHL”

Tillmanns and his Oilers club was also at the Circle K Classic this winter. In six games, he scored once and added an assist as the Oilers made it to the C Final.

During the 2021/2022 season, Tillmanns played for the South Side Athletic Club U18 AA squad. He was second on the team in scoring that season with 37 points, his 20 goals that season led the team.
