Tye Evans commits to Melfort for 2021-22!

The Melfort Mustangs are happy to start the week with another commitment announcement for the 2021-22 hockey season.

Tye Evans, a 2003-born forward, from Grande Prairie, Alberta, has committed to the Mustangs for next season.

“Tye plays the game with skill and puck possession.” Mustangs Head Coach and GM Trevor Blevins said. “He also brings a competitive edge that fits with our style of play.”

Evans has spent the last two seasons with the Grande Prairie Storm AAA U18 team of the Alberta Elite Hockey League. Evans began the season with a single assist in just three games. During the 2019-20 season Evans scored six times and added seven assists in 32 games. Also, in just 5 playoff games, Evans scored one goal and six assists for seven points.

Evans will join the Mustangs for the 2021-22 season.
