Wyatt Day Commits to Melfort for 2021-22!

The Melfort Mustangs are excited to announce another defensive commitment for the 2021-22 season!

Wyatt Day, a 2003-born Defenceman, from Gordondale, Alberta, has committed to the Mustangs.

The 5-foot-11, 165lb, Defenceman, spent the last two seasons in the Grande Prairie Storm U18 AAA Program, in the Alberta Elite Hockey League. Day played three games with the Storm this year before COVID-19 shut down the season. During the 2019-20 campaign, Day scored three goals, and added eight assists, for 11 points, in 32 games.

“Wyatt is a smooth skating Defenceman with lots of speed.” Mustangs Head Coach and GM Trevor Blevins said. “He will bring a dynamic to our lineup that will be a huge asset for our D group.”

Day will join the Mustangs this fall for the 2021-22 season.
